SmartSynch Honored at 2009 M2M Magazine Value Chain Awards Gala
SmartSynch was recently honored at the 2009 M2M Magazine Value Chain Awards Gala recognizing the most successful adopters of machine-to-machine (M2M) technology and the teams that made their successes possible.
SmartSynch received a Silver Award in the Energy/Utilities category for their work with Motorola Wireless Modules to deliver smart grid technology to Trico Electric Cooperative in Tucson, Arizona. Read the press release.

SmartSynch Sponsors National Town Meeting on Demand Response and Smart Grid in Washington, DC
On July 13-14, a National Town Meeting on Demand Response and Smart Grid was held in Washington, DC. SmartSynch joined AT&T, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and select organizations as co-sponsors of the event.
The event was organized by the Demand Response Coordinating Committee (DRCC), a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the exchange of information and expertise about demand response and smart grid technologies and programs and how they can be put into action to provide customers and utilities with new options for managing electricity. SmartSynch was selected for the 2009 AlwaysOn Global 250 List. The AlwaysOn Global 250 Award is given to private, emerging technology companies creating new business opportunities in high-growth markets. SmartSynch was selected by the AlwaysOn editorial team based on demonstration of growth, market opportunity, quality of innovation and customer traction.
SmartSynch and the other AlwaysOn Global 250 winners will be recognized at the AlwaysOn & STVP Summit at Stanford, taking place at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA, on July 28-30. This two-and-a-half-day executive conference is co-presented by the Stanford Technology Ventures Program and will highlight the significant economic, political and commercial trends affecting the global technology industries.
