SmartSynch Executives Elevate Smart Grid Dialogue at National Conferences

- On Friday, February 27th, SmartSynch CEO Stephen Johnston attended the Canaccord Adams Sustainability Forum in Deer Valley, Colorado, and joined fellow CEOs from eMeter, Silver Spring Networks, Control4 and Landis+Gyr Holdings for a Smart Grid panel discussion on the latest developments and emerging trends within the Smart Grid sector. Some of the topics discussed included the evolution of the Smart Grid, the future of HAN, the role of open standards, international market adoption, a roadmap to SmartMeter rollouts and the stimulus spending and expectations.
- SmartSynch’s chief technology officer, Henry Jones, attended the Pacific Crest Emerging Technology Summit in San Francisco on February 26th and helped headline the Summit’s 4th Annual On-Demand Conference before an audience of top-tier, large-fund investors. He joined keynote speaker Michael Carlson, Chief Information Officer of Xcel Energy, and panel moderator, Global Smart Energy’s Managing Director Jesse Berst, for an in-depth discussion on the state of the Smart Grid market.
- Nangy Gul, SmartSynch’s head of strategic development for the Western U.S., will speak at the Colorado Clean Energy Solutions Series’ Smart Grid Symposium, March 30th at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The event’s purpose is to encourage stakeholder collaboration for the development of a successful infrastructure in Colorado to support and advance clean and renewable energy solutions and climate change abatement. He will be joined by a host of Smart Grid industry executives, including David Brewster – President & Co-Founder, EnerNOC; Mike Burns – Senior Product Marketer, Itron; Karl Lewis – Chief Strategy Officer, GridPoint; Allan Schurr – Vice President, IBM; and Adrian Tuck – CEO, Tendril Networks.
