SmartSynch to Celebrate Earth Day with 125 Elementary School Students in Oxford, MississippiJackson, MS — April 22, 2009 On Wednesday, April 22 (Earth Day), on the campus at The University of Mississippi, SmartSynch CEO Stephen Johnston will present SmartSynch's SmartKids Initiative to approximately 125 fourth-grade students from Oxford Elementary School in Oxford, Mississippi. The event is part of the Oxford and University Community Green Week 2009 event aimed at engaging area students in environmental education. Johnston will present again that afternoon to another group of students at Oxford University School. SmartSynch's SmartKids Initiative is a school program that teaches children about energy usage and how they can help their families conserve energy both in their community and globally, simply by making subtle changes to their everyday behavior.
